Mirka 5" Backing Pad for Electrical Orbital Sanders is a 125 mm (5") backing pad with a central air inlet for electrical orbital sanders—channel design boosts airflow so dust pulls through multi-hole discs instead of packing on the face.

Built for Mirka 5" 17-hole Gold multi-hole discs; also works with common Festo (8+1H), Bosch (8H), and Black & Decker hole patterns. Use when dust extraction at the pad matters for gelcoat and paint sanding.

How to use

  1. Mount to a compatible electrical orbital sander spindle; confirm thread/fit
  2. Seat a matching multi-hole disc; connect extraction hose if equipped
  3. Sand with the pad flat; replace the pad when the face is glazed or uneven

Note: Confirm machine thread and hole-pattern compatibility before first use. A worn face causes swirl and poor dust pickup—retire pads that are cupped or torn.
